We are very proud to announce that Phase 1 of our essential oils database tool is now complete. We have much more planned but you can start to benefit from this information now. Learn about the medical properties, origins, extraction methods, safety information, active constituents, compound makeup, and much more information on over 100 essential oils. Now we can start to link any references to oils in our forums to its corresponding info page from the database. This will streamline learning and put the information that you want conveniently at your fingertips. Credibility and more successful business building will be the ultimate result.

In summary, EOConnect.com is a Young Living community that shares in education and purpose. We acknowledge that we can accomplish much more when we work together and share ideas. Generally speaking, EOConnect.com is a tool for Young Living Distributors to grow their business.

We created EOConnect.com as a tool to help our fellow distributor help their customers, clients, and distributors. When I first started Young Living, I didn't know how to use the products and found myself calling my sponsor more than I desired to. I remember wishing that there were some sort of online tool that I could use to answer all of my questions. Even a simple forum that I could search other people's questions and answers would have been amazing. But EOConnect.com is meant to be so much more that just that. We will be a compilation of many different educational and informational videos, of numerous distributor blogs from all areas of expertise, of video and written testimonials to share & uplift, and of an Essential Oils Database which will be used to research the oils, uses, constituencies, and protocols (still in progress).

Some users were invited to check out the EOConncet.com site this weekend as a pilot launch. Please let us know how we can improve the site. Also, please remember to verify your account. All site functionality turns on when your account is verified. If you have any questions, please let us know in the forums if you believe others will have the same questions. This way, a single answer will benefit all who read it. This is the same advantage the forums will provide for Young Living questions as well. And finally, remember all public content will be moderated since this is a professional site. Internal, member-only content will be semi-open with some minor exceptions.

We have set a date for the official lauch of EOConnect.com for Monday 6/28/2010. We will offer a free trial membership for anyone to try out the site, and to give us an opportunity for load testing and performance tuning. Then our introductory subscription price will be $9.95, for the most professional marketing, business, social networking site in the industry. This introductory price will be extended until functionality improvements are added that require more resources, or until the end of 2010. At that time, we will re-evaluate our costs and adjust the subscription price accordingly...

We have learned much the last month or so, and are encouraged about the progress. Our pace has been slightly above schedule to lauch out load testing aroung the middle of June. This timing works out well with the Young Living Convention starting on the 15th. Pending any setbacks, we plan on announcing and openning up our doors to early testers at that time for donations only. This means that these early adopters will be building the community and get free access to the content and features that we will highlight.
